Director of Global Services Delivery
Wilmington, DE USA
David Broderick is Director of Global Services Delivery at CAI, a global IT outsourcing firm currently managing engagements with over 100 Fortune 1,000 companies and government agencies around the world. CAI provides outsourcing solutions that help increase the productivity of their clients’ organizations.
David is also the General Manager of CAI’s Chinese Joint Venture, CAI-Newtouch, located in Shanghai, China. He was responsible for finding and selecting a Chinese partner to start performing IT Services in China for CAI, forming CAI-Newtouch in 2005. CAI’s goal was to continue to expand our capabilities globally to offer clients a better price on specific outsourcing solutions, and also look for opportunities to do business in China. A key part of the selection process was to select a partner that could demonstrate a strong understanding of process-oriented projects, while also working well with CAI’s entrepreneurial business culture. Thus began David’s relationship, experience, and continuing education about China.
David has over twenty-five (25) years of IT Services experience and was responsible for running a 250-person delivery organization that performed application development and support for multiple global client engagements. He has led a complex offshore assessment of a China software development project for a major US bank. This project focused on creating a secure, productive, and stable environment that spanned one location in China and two US locations. David has also created the operational, financial, and administrative processes and procedures for many clients (Chemical, Financial, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing) when setting up teams in the US, Philippines, and China. These experiences give David a unique perspective on how to be successful in China.
