Patrick Hurley founded MidMarket Capital Advisors, LLC upon departure in 2003 from FleetBoston Financial which had acquired his predecessor firm in 2000. He had been a senior partner advising business owners since 1979. He currently serves as one of four managing directors working on M&A projects for sell-side and buy-side clients. He has a track-record representing clients in corporate finance advisory projects and strategic financial transactions across a broad range of industries and types of transactions for owners and fiduciaries of private and public companies. Transaction values range from $25 million and $1.4 billion.
Patrick is also president of Tianjin New Financial Development Company, Ltd. based in the third largest city in China. He has served as Association for Corporate Growth Chair for China International Private Equity Forum, which has become an annual event in June in Tianjin.
Patrick serves as primary contact for MidMarket as a member firm of M&A International, Inc., the longest established and most successful network of independent corporate finance advisory firms with 45 member firms in 42 countries with over 600 professionals.
He has also served as chairman of ACG Global (55 chapters and over 12,000 members) and spearheaded the effort to expand ACG into China. In addition, he has served as global chairman for AFF DealSource at the Asian Financial Forum in Hong Kong in 2009 and 2010. He is also a member of the board of directors of American Refining Group and the Family Firm Institute.
